About Us
Run by Director/Curator, Zack Ziesing, and Curator, Fred Alvey, the Superstition Live Reptile Exhibit was founded in 1999, and boasts the largest live display of venomous Reptiles & Invertebrates in not only Arizona but across much of the Southwest. We are currently home to over 30 different varieties of Rattlesnakes and Scorpions alone, always expanding our collections as other captivating species become available. Our exhibit is not limited to toxic inhabitants, however. We also display numerous harmless and equally fascinating desert species, including: Turtles, Tortoises, Lizards and Snakes. In addition, we have various seasonal invertebrates of all kinds, such as: Walking Sticks, Mantids, Grasshoppers, and Beetles. Visitors will recieve an up-close, unique look at some of North America's most infamous and remarkable life forms, all housed in naturalistic vivaria.
