Planning your Visit
At the base of the mighty and majestic Superstition Mountains lies Goldfield Ghost Town. Here you will find our Live Reptile Exhibit, showcasing some of the most amazing and alluring inhabitants of the Sonoran Desert. In addition to our Nature Center, there are many other fun activities for all ages to enjoy while at Goldfield, such as: a historic museum, scenic train rides, gold panning, mine tours, horseback riding, live gunfights on weekends, western dining, gift shops & more.

What to bring:
There is no fee to enter Goldfield, however, each attraction has its individual pricing. Call 480.288.6893 or 480.983.0333 for group rates and more information. Many of the main attractions at Goldfield are located outdoors. Be prepared for the weather. Temperatures can easily reach 100 degrees or more from late May into September. Wearing light, comfortable clothes, a hat, sunscreen, and comfortable walking shoes may help make your trip more enjoyable during this time. Consider bringing an umbrella during the AZ monsoon season (July through September). Also, remember to bring your camera for all of the scenery and wildlife available.
